Welcome to Sahanaya
The National Council for Mental Health is a community mental health resource centre for rehabilitation, education and training in mental health care. Established in 1982, it was incorporated by an Act of Parliament in 1986. It is registered with the Department of Social Services as a Non Governmental Organization and approved as a charity by the Ministry of Finance for tax purposes. It maintains Borella Resource Centre and Gorakana Residential Facility.
