Clients’ meeting was held on 24th May 2010. The following matters came up during the meeting:
•On occasion of the Poson poya day, clients expressed their wish to visit the Gothami temple in Rajagiriya in June.
•It was decided to arrange an outing to the Bird Park in Kelaniya.
Caregivers’ meeting was held on 23rd May 2010.
Sahanaya premises were decorated for Wesak festival, with the participation of all the clients.
Mrs. C.N.H.Perere, resident of Australia sponsored the lunch for all clients on 07th May in memory of her brother Romesh Ondaatjie.
Training programme
•Medical Students
23 final year students from Colombo Medical Faculty visited Sahanaya in May 2010. They viewed the DVD on Sahanaya and were informed of the services provided by us, and as to how they could contribute towards community mental health.
Counselling
•07 clients sought Counselling in the month of May.
•Diploma in Practical Counselling and Mental Health progressed successfully through the month. The Second Semester of the Course is scheduled to start in June, following the First Semester End Examination.

Clients’ meeting was held on 09th June 2010. Clients visited theatre at Rajagiriya to view a comedy film “Magodi Godai” on 9th June 2010. On the occasion of the Poson poya day, clients visited Gothami temple at Rajagiriya on 24th June. Medical Students and Nursing Students 41 medical students from Colombo and Sri Jayawardhanapura Medical Faculty and 90 nursing students from Mulleriyawa nurses training school visited Sahanaya in June 2010.
