Ms. K.D. Susanthi Fernando - Mental Health Worker - Department of Rehabilitation

Ms.K.D.Susanthi has followed a Diploma course in Psychology  at the Institute of Psychological Studies and clinical trainning programme at Sandeepani Home for the mentaly ill and has acquired an extensive knowledge and trainning in many areas of mental health.  She has further enhanced her knowledge by following a programme in personality development at the Colombo University. She has also partcipated in a workshop on Introduction to Research Methodology and done a research in mental health status of children affected by Tsunami in Galle district:-  cause of poverty; addiction of children to drugs and smoking.  She has also followed a course in First Aid conducted by St.Johns Ambulance Brigade.

 She is an important member of the technical staff at the Resource Centre.
